What
process do you follow to make a retrato’?
I go to the site and I spend several hours drawing, taking measures and photographs of what I see. In the studio I then work with this information. I dedicate an important part of the time to observing carefully.

to make my first retrato’ in Madrid this year.
How long does it
take you?
They are slow
drawings. If it is due by a certain date, then the calendar sets the deadline. Distinct
to each project, sometimes it takes me weeks, other times - months.
How do you print it?
Each page is
printed in the laboratory using giclée, a process that allows to produce high
quality professional prints. This technique is applied on a high grammage paper,
Enhanced Matte of 200gr, so that the result does not lose nuances over time.
How do you ship it?
Depending on the
size, the prints are shipped in an envelope or cardboard tube. It comes
protected by a rigid support so it can be easily transported or sent to the
address you need.
